Well, all my blogging this past year was done privately, but at least the perennial oscar post is a staple.
A good year for movies and I feel good about all my picks save that Best Picture could be any of the better five. I reserved judgement on Editing and Best Picture until the morning of because it’s such a tough call. I went with American Hustle for both.

Best Original Score – Gravity
Best Original Song – Frozen
Best Editing – American Hustle -> Gravity
Best Cinematography – Gravity
Best Production Direction – The Great Gatsby
Best Costume Design – 12 Years a Slave -> The Great Gatsby
Best Makeup – Dallas Buyers Club
Best Sound Mixing – Gravity
Best Sound Editing – Gravity
Best Visual Effects – Gravity
